Sou Fujimoto elucidates his idea of architecture with the help of more than 120 models of realized structures, conceptional tests or designs currently in progress. He has furnished each of the models, photographed himself, with a statement which poetically and succinctly substantiate his musings on the future of architecture. Fujimoto sees architecture as a forest as the architecture of the future. The models range fromvery small buildings to huge constructions several hundred metres high or even whole city blocks.
