Of these, Crocanthinae is one of the subfamilies of Lecithoceridae, and all they are distibuted in the Oceanian and Australian Region, with 85 known species. However, it can be estimated that more than 3 times of species remain to be discovered in the world. This is an example how much the biodiversity in nature have been ignored.
