This book is based on a true story where truths were twisted into lies told which destroyed a family. Sandy Johnson was financially secure when she met Thomas Stevenson. He was good-looking and was working for his diploma in finance. Sandy dreamed of one day moving to the Cayman Islands and living off the fortune she had amassed by working three jobs since she was eleven years old. She was so intent on going to the islands that she forgot another critical step which cost her dearly.
