Kangri (Hamirpuri) which is an SOV type language of the Indo-Aryan family is one of the variety of the various pahari dialects spoken in the low hills of Himachal Pradesh. The dialectal variation in most of North India is proverbial. It is said, The language changes every 12 kilometres.
