The book deals with the study of digestive enzymes in Etroplus suratensis (Pearlspot) and Oreochromis mossambicus (Tilapia). Both of these fishes can survive in brackish as well as fresh water ecosystems. Once introduced in to a habitat, tilapia can be a threat to native species.
