This manual contains updated results of both theoretical and applied research in the field of sensors and methods for environmental control, mainly with regard to the detection of pollutant species in gaseous and liquid ambients. The papers are taken from the International Workshop on Sensors for Environmental Control, held in Italy in 2002.
