The authors, of different nationalities, who were invited to make contributions are all specialists of the philosopher's work, among them the most eminent. The various aspects of Simone Weil's thoughts have been organized in such a way as to begin with the heart of her work –; philosophy –; moving on to morals, then politics and history. Lastly, the religious and mystical developments are treated. The final chapters focus on a few more specific perspectives.
