It is a story about the Texas Rangers and the complex relationship of a father and son, who are both members of the Rangers. Central to this dramatic time in Texas history were the Texas Rangers, who were the protectors of the frontier settlements.This unique story revolves around the interplay of Texas and American history and the personal conflict between the main characters. When Tyler Lode resists his father's urging to also quit the Rangers, Charlie Lode begins to resent his own son and they are separated. Later, Charlie looks for Tyler in order to make amends. Will he find him? Will there be peace between this father and son?
