As the title suggests this book will focus on the application of pharmacometrics in the drug development process. It begins on the conceptual level, examining pharmacometrics and pharmacodynamics in specific patient populations such as those with increasing impact on population health - such as geriatrics and the obese - but also those patient groups that are key considerations in making applications for drug approval, notably those with renal or hepatic impairment.
